About us

Tre Modular is a small studio dedicated to creating instruments with character, intention, and a love for sound. Founded in Riga, Latvia by designer, maker and musician Jānis. Every one of our modules begins as a spark of curiosity and grows into a tool that musicians can shape into their own voice.

We care about details: the look, the feel, the behavior, the small details that make each design stand apart. No two modules follow the same pattern. Each one carries its own personality, shaped by exploration and a desire to offer something genuinely new.

We build our modules the old‑school way, with care, patience and by hand. We test every module twice, first time when it’s built and second time right before it’s sent to you.

Our instruments are used by musicians of all kinds: beginners, experts, explorers, minimalists, noise artists, melodic creators. Anyone who finds inspiration in sounds that our modules create is part of the Tre Modular story.

Tre Modular exists because creating something from nothing still feels like magic. And every module is built with that same sense of discovery.
