Replicant RM is a ring modulator based on the legendary Yamaha CS80.
At its core lies MC1496 IC, a modern alternative to the original uA796 used in CS80.

Replicant RM includes its own dedicated VCO.
You can choose between sine and square waveforms. Sine delivers a clean, pure tone, while square adds grit and harmonic complexity.
We’ve also included a built-in Attack/Decay envelope generator.
It can be gated or looped, and has two speed modes for you to choose from.
